Scottsdale Pediatric Health Psychology (SPHP) was established in 2015 by Dr. Melanie Bierenbaum. SPHP is a private practice dedicated to supporting children, teenagers, and young adults with complex medical needs. SPHP employs evidence-based assessment and interventions to enhance the health and development of our patients and their families. Recognizing that chronic medical conditions and injuries can disrupt the typical childhood experience and exacerbate stress and anxiety, SPHP focuses on addressing these cognitive, social, and emotional challenges to improve overall well-being and reduce family stress.
